Who is behind EchoGrant?

Jon has spent over a decade helping UK businesses secure innovation funding. Before founding EchoGrant he advised startups and SMEs on grant strategy across Innovate UK, UKRI and regional programmes, and kept watching good founders lose out to a process that was harder than it needed to be.
He works alongside grant specialists who have written and won applications themselves, and engineers building the tools that check a draft against what assessors actually mark.
Why now?
The UK is putting serious money into innovation and growth through Innovate UK, UKRI and regional development funds. There is a lot of funding on offer for ambitious businesses.
At the same time, AI can now take on most of the groundwork in a grant application (research, eligibility checks, first drafts) without dropping the standard that funders expect.
